WW1 ‘Museum in a box’

By Suzanne Hudson

WW1 ‘Museum in a box’

We were very lucky to be able to borrow a WW1 ‘Museum in a box’ resource from the Tolson Museum in Huddersfield. It included soldiers’ trench equipment, medals, photographs and newspapers from the time. The pupils were fascinated by the artefacts and having the opportunity to learn about and handle these items helped to inspire some wonderful artwork and creative writing.
